WOW! What an absolute find!! This place had everything we wanted, plus so much more. Kylie was an exceptional host and not only assisted with check in and out but also kept in contact prior to our arrival as well as during and after our stay. The house itself is one of the best places I've stayed and the view from the front verandah is pretty damn amazing. It was so well appointed, had such a great vibe and there really wasn't anything else we could ask for. I have two boys, aged 8 and 11, and they never wanted to leave….Next time we're in Melbourne we know where we'll be staying and it's right back here! Thanks again for everything Kylie. You certainly made our holiday one to remember.
Kylie's communication has always been fantastic, from the time of booking leading up to our trip and post check-out. We felt so at ease knowing upfront the many activities we could keep both the adults and especially the kids occupied……. Gingers is simply stunning - the fireplace, the deco and the well-equipped kitchen and pantry made us settle in effortlessly. We will definitely re-book Gingers the next time we visit Warburton again

One of the best airbnb experiences we have had with the family. The attention to detail and consideration to our experience in the house was above and beyond what we've encountered before. The beds were comfy, the kitchen had everything we needed and the extra games and toys for the kids were a hit. its a beautiful house and we felt very well.looked after. thank you!
This was probably one of the best air bnbs I’ve stayed in. We stayed with another family and had 4 young kids between us (who didn’t want to leave!). There were more toys than we have at home, the most beautiful home which was so well styled and cosy. The gardens with all the fairies and swing were perfect for our little ones. There was bird seed, gifts for us - so much above and beyond we constantly kept commenting how incredible the place was. Kylie is one of the loveliest hosts I’ve dealt with. The info pack is great and she was always on hand with tips and advice. There are close by walks through the forest and within 20 mins we were tobogganing in the snow. The best few days, would 1000% return!
I can not say enough positive things about Ginger’s on the Hill. Our stay was amazing. I could write a huge list, but here are my top three things: 1. The house is extremely well equipped and has everything you could need during your stay, including an extremely well stocked kitchen. The attention to detail is hugely impressive! 2. The welcome to the home and communication with Kylie were exceptional. 3. The house is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. Between this and the lush, green surrounds , you can’t help but feel calm and peaceful while staying there. If you’re considering staying at Gingers on the Hill, you won’t regret it.
From the moment we walked through the door it was a home away from home. There were lovely surprises everywhere and we kept saying ’wow!’ The beautiful fireplace was used each afternoon and night and the large dining table was were we played fun games. Showers were squeaky clean, bed were warm and comfy and a full kitchen to use. We were greeted in the morning by the very friendly birds which was a delight for our 12 year old and us adults too. Highly recommend this gorgeous property.
I’ve never had accommodation that has exceeded my expectations like this. From the time I made the booking, Kylie was in touch with helpful info and recommendations. When we arrived, we were blown away by the styling and quality of the home. There were so many gorgeous touches, from the beautiful art and decorations to the delicious breakfast goodies provided. We felt incredibly nurtured and cared for and loved our stay. We’ll definitely be back.
We absolutely loved our stay at Ginger's. We travelled as a couple with a 2 year-old and a 7 month-old and Warburton is our new favourite place. We were blown away by the quality of the property and Kylie's attention to detail. The house is perfectly located close to town but in a quiet cul-de-sac. There were so many games and toys to keep the kids interested when we were at home. The house was styled impeccably and is extremely comfortable. Cannot recommend it enough!
We absolutely adored our stay at Gingers! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the styling and thoughtful touches. Everything has been thought of and provided, including heaps of activities and recommendations for how to entertain kids in the area and even around the property. It’s so lovely to be close enough to walk into town or by the river, but also be a short drive to many local attractions. The property feels private and peaceful, with a cosy fire and divine bedlinen. Feeding the local birds every morning was our highlight. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kylie’s property, Ginger’s on the Hill, and will certainly be trying to find a time to return to stay again!
We have stayed in so many Air bnb’s… and some really fancy ones too. But we loved this place! It was amazingly perfect for a girls weekend away! From the decor, fireplace, cosy dinner area to sit around and lots of special touches Kylie had included in.. Kitchen was really clean and very well equipped! Only a five minute walk to the lovely Warburton town. Just a perfect stay! Highly recommend Gingers on the Hill.
Best Air BnB we’ve ever stayed at. Kylie was so lovely and accommodating, and went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. She even had little surprises for the kids! So well appointed and everything you need in a holiday home to relax and unwind while the kids play and explore. Warburton is such a wonderful town with excellent walks and cycling tracks nearby. The ice cream shop was great too! We’ve already booked our next visit to Ginger on the Hill.

We booked Gingers on the Hill for a few days following our wedding and we were so impressed! The place was beautifully furnished, cosy and felt like walking into a home away from home. Everything was thoughtfully ready to go and we particularly loved enjoying a wine by the fireplace. Little touches including bathrobes, botanical toiletries, local artisan food products, the bath, curated ceramics, textiles and furniture gave the stay a feeling of luxury. We enjoyed walking to the local cafes, Alpine Hotel and taking a short drive for some incredible walks! Kylie was an amazing and thoughtful host who made us feel so welcome. Absolutely recommend, especially for something a bit special over the cooler months. We will definitely be back!
We had an absolutely gorgeous stay for our mini honeymoon at Kylie’s place - the house itself is so peaceful in the hills just behind Warburton, with birds coming past in the mornings. We really enjoyed the spa bath, comfy spaces, the classy cocktail cabinet, the thoughtful goodies left around the place for us, and the extra cosy robes! Would absolutely come back again!
Probably the best AirBnB I've ever stayed in! A private and peaceful position, so beautifully decorated inside, impeccably clean, so many very thoughtful touches from the host to enjoy, and everything you could need for a long stay. The host was also really responsive, friendly and provided a ton of recommendations for local things to do. We will definitely be returning if we're ever back in the area!
We loved our stay at Gingers on the hill! Kylie was an amazing host who provided us with many local recommendations and small personalised touches, which meant this was a very memorable stay. My partner and I got engaged while here, and it provided the perfect backdrop to one of the most romantic weekends of my life. I cannot recommend this space enough. The highlights included feeding the birds, walking along the river and feeding ducks, and spending long nights by the fireplace. We also ordered a chocolate and cheese platter through Kylie which provided a fantastic and gourmet selection, well worth the price we paid for it.
